A quirky bathroom experience
Our stay was a mix of cozy comfort and delightful staff interaction. The selection of high-quality coffee in our room was a surprising treat, perfect for a warm morning.
Getting locked in the bathroom was a challenge! The door wouldn't shut properly, making it a little awkward during our stay.

Had a lovely one-night stay with a fabulous bathroom and a good selection of teas in the room. I really enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace and the delicious breakfast options were a treat. The only bummer was that the parking permit wasn't available as promised, but they did deduct the parking charges, so it worked out fine in the end. 😊

Cozy stay with delicious seafood chowder
I completely enjoyed my one-night stay, especially the seafood chowder that was packed with flavor and freshness. The cozy vibes of the pub, combined with the modern décor in my room, made it a delightful retreat. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly, which added to the overall experience. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be to address the noise levels in the evenings, as it can get a bit lively.

I had a fantastic time at The Fortescue. The bed in the Deluxe King Room felt super comfy. The staff were really friendly and attentive. I loved that they made a special vegetarian breakfast for me, totally delicious! The location is spot on, just a short walk to the sea. noise from the bar was a bit much sometimes, especially when there was a party going on below my room. The room showed some signs of age, especially the TV, but it didn’t really affect my stay. The atmosphere was lively and I enjoyed my meal in the evening, although I found the prices a little steep. I appreciated the unique touches and hospitality that made my visit special.

Our two-night getaway was memorable, especially enjoying delicious chicken burgers and nuggets at the cozy pub on-site. Despite the place being busy, the service was prompt. Just a heads-up, the TV could use an upgrade, but it hardly impacted our stay!
